According to Amazon on, India became the company’s first Asian market for Amazon Air. The e-commerce company anticipates that the dedicated airline will improve its network for air freight transportation and lead to quicker e-commerce deliveries across the nation.
Amazon Air has joined together with Bangalore-based Quikjet Airlines to expedite shipments, making it the first Indian e-commerce company to do so. Amazon Air will, in accordance with the conditions of the agreement, use the capacity of two Boeing 737-800 aircraft flown by an Indian airline to ship packages between Hyderabad (HYD), Bengaluru (BLR), Delhi (DEL), and Mumbai (BOM).
