An RS-485 data bus reader was added to an ALTO DZ-290 amp to interpret audio settings for audio selection, volume levels, EQ presets, and speaker on/off to effectively bypass this system limitation.
This serial data bus reader enables ALTO to control the audio path from source to amplification while preserving the functionality of the current AI CMS. In this way, ALTO can get the best audio signal directly to the ALTO amp and operate the system in conjunction with the current CMS.
