    The Rolls-Royce Trent XWB, Rolls-Royce Trent 7000, CFM International CFM-56-5B, and General Electric CF6-80E are the four jet engines to which the AFC-22 is now specifically tailored.

     

    Additionally, it will quickly adapt to all turbo fan engines. In as little as four weeks, new engine adapters can be produced at FCS Finland’s factory in Turku, Finland.

     

    A 3D laser scanner is used for contactless measuring to trace every detail of the engine exhaust system before fabrication and assembly of the AFC-22 for an aircraft engine can begin. This procedure offers a precise method for making adapters for every engine type.

     

    The next step is the 3D design process, which enables accurate and complex shapes for any engine type. A virtual fitting is then done, which allows for a quicker delivery time. Seals are cut throughout the manufacturing process using CNC machining and a computer-guided procedure.
