Filter medium is coated with an anti-allergy enzyme that aids in the breakdown of allergen proteins. Captures bacteria, viruses, and germs in the air. Increases filtration to help remove small dust and pollen that larger post-filters may miss.
The air filter has a 4-month lifespan. Air filters work by reducing the amount of potentially dangerous microparticles in the air. This can help to avoid the development of environmental allergies and other respiratory issues, as well as the occurrence of symptoms.
Air filtration has been demonstrated to minimize these airborne allergens and may provide some relief for allergy sufferers. Two forms of filtration are recommended by experts: Look for an air cleaner with a HEPA (high-efficiency particulate air) filter for a single room.
More expensive air filters, such as Pleated Residential filters, will filter out dust mites, pollen, pet dander, mold, and even germs, which can be worth the extra money, particularly for individuals who suffer from severe allergies.
The Global Anti allergen Filters market accounted for $XX Billion in 2023 and is anticipated to reach $XX Billion by 2030, registering a CAGR of XX% from 2024 to 2030.
Audi introduces an anti-allergen air filtration system Audi has announced the introduction of a new filtering system that “neutralizes nearly all allergens” and will be available in the brand’s compact vehicle lineup.
The company will employ two different versions of the filter, both of which have three layers. The outer layer of the first variety contains plant-derived polyphenols that bind to allergen receptors.
The other variant of the filter uses modified proteins to produce a similar effect. The following two levels are shared by both versions of the new filter.
The second layer is made up of microfibers, which trap and remove microscopic particulates from the air, and the third layer is made up of activated carbon, which traps gaseous contaminants.
The new filtering system will be available in the UK from June on the Audi A1, A3, Q3, and TT models, and it will also be available on the Audi Q2 when it premieres there. Existing Audi owners can have the new filtering system retrofitted during routine maintenance.
