The right engine fuel temperature sensor is located in the right engine fuel cooled oil cooler. Plug FTMP is connected to the sensor. Open the right engine lower cowling to access the sensor.

 

The sensor is a temperature controlled variable resistor. Fuel sensors work by measuring the voltage across a variable resistor within the sensing system, to determine the amount of fuel in the vehicle, which is then relayed to the driver via the indicating system
