When choosing a Level 2 EV charger, there are a few things to consider, but the value of one is clear.
Level 2 will reduce and probably eliminate reliance on a public charging station for the vast majority of drivers, as well as the anxiety associated with locating an unoccupied public charger when needed .
Even if customers electric vehicle's battery is nearly depleted, almost any Level 2 charger should be able to fully charge it overnight.
The Level 1 charger that comes with customers electric car will take much longer to charge than a Level 2, 240-volt home charger.
Each month, there are more Level 2 chargers to choose from, and some of them might be cheaper than customers think.
Set up and establishment don't need to be convoluted or costly, either, contingent upon customers conditions. Similar to the Level 1 charger that comes with customers car, many Level 2 EV chargers can be plugged into an outlet.
If that suits customers needs better, some can be hard-wired into the electrical system of customers home. To manage charging and keep costs low, many have their own phone apps.
