    The front and rear “bumper” fascias as well as several interior and exterior trim pieces are among the Fiesta parts that are produced in a facility close to the Fiesta assembly line and supplied just-in-time.


    Along with a windshield and rear window sealing solution, Dow Automotive is also supplying Visteon Corporation, another integrated full service provider for the Brazilian Fiesta, with substantial plastic instrument panel components.


    All components made at the facility are created utilizing different polypropylene resins, the majority of which are provided by Dow.


    In order to design a strategy for an operation that would offer on-site delivery of components to Ford’s assembly line in a matter of hours, Dow worked closely with Ford to define equipment and logistical criteria for the plastics production plant.
