For each response variable, the percentage of fibres used and the beating time were compared to determine whether there were any significant differences.

     

     The findings indicate that the mechanical characteristics of papers increased as beating time increased. Otherwise, the mechanical qualities of the paper have diminished due to the increase in the percentage of fibres.

     

    The best mechanical qualities were generated by mixing 25% fibres with 75% newspaper and beating it for 20 minutes. The finding implies that one of the substitute raw materials that can be used for product packaging is coir fibres.
