The construction of conductivity cells, also known as conductivity electrodes or probes, involves the placement of metal electrodes at set intervals in a glass or plastic body that is encircled by an outer tube. The cell constant is the product of the distance between the electrodes and the surface area of each electrode.
To gauge an electrolyte's conductance, a conductivity cell is employed. Metal electrodes, platinum electrodes covered in platinum black, or platinum electrodes are typically used in conductivity cells (in most cases steel).
The Global Conductivity Cell Market accounted for $XX Billion in 2022 and is anticipated to reach $XX Billion by 2030, registering a CAGR of XX% from 2023 to 2030.
Trans Instruments is proud to announce the release of the new WalkLAB series HP9021 Conductivity metre. Trans Instruments has more than 20 years of expertise producing water testing equipment. With an IP rating of 65, this metre is completely waterproof and weatherproof and features a sizable, easy-to-use backlit LCD display.
Due to the temperature dependence of conductivity, measurement is made simple by the automated auto-lock system, which will show a stabilised endpoint reading once the temperature has been fully corrected.
Due to handling and temperature stability, this special feature enables usersâeven those without much measuring experienceâto take conductivity, TDS, or salinity measurements with the least amount of error.
The metre can be calibrated five times over each range to increase accuracy. During measurement, the auto range feature will automatically transition to a greater range. The TDS factor, temperature coefficient factor, and cell constant can all be set on the metre and are stored in non-volatile memory.
The data will not be wiped if the battery is removed. The memory of the metre may hold up to 99 sets of measured data for pH, mV, and temperature that are time- and date-stamped.
Using the optional USB connection kit that comes with the software, the user can download stored memory or create continuous data logging on a PC. This metre has similar features and specifications as a benchtop metre while yet being portable and reasonably priced.
