GLOBAL DAMPED OSCILLATORY WAVE MARKET
INTRODUCTION
Damped Oscillatory Waves (DOWs) are disturbances that might possibly harm equipment located near disturbance sources and occur in settings like power plants.
They may also produce magnetic fields, which may generate electromagnetic waves that travel along cables and impact neighbouring circuits' equipment.Examples of this that are frequently used are a weight on a spring, a pendulum that swings, and an RLC circuit.
GLOBAL DAMPED OSCILLATORY WAVE MARKET SIZE AND FORECAST
The Global Damped Oscillatory Wave market accounted for $XX Billion in 2022 and is anticipated to reach $XX Billion by 2030, registering a CAGR of XX% from 2023 to 2030.
RECENT DEVELOPMENT
Based on the modular generator DOW-CG1, EMC PARTNER has developed a method for conducting immunity testing against damped oscillatory waves.
The economical method enables flexible construction of any test system to meet particular requirements. A yet-unmatched test level of 5 kV at direct output is provided by the Slow DOWN module of the DOW-CG1 generator, enabling customised experiments for research and development.
Additionally, the 5 kV capacity ensures that the system will pass the IEC 61000-4-10 test levels at 100 kHz and 1 MHz. With the three-phase internal CDN rated up to 3 Ã 690 V/ 3 x 32 A AC and 500 V/ 32 A DC, the sluggish DOW disturbances can be linked onto power lines.
The generator already has automatic overcurrent protection built in.Two CDNs are offered for applying slow DOW disturbances on control, communication, or auxiliary lines: CDN-DOW-DATA-LF is for up to 8 unsymmetrical lines, and CDN-DOW-DATA-HF18 is for up to 8 high-speed (1 Gbps) symmetrical lines from IEC 61000-4-18. It has a high-speed Ethernet line test setup.
As a result, testing Gigabit Ethernet connections is simple according to IEEE/ANSI C37.90.1, which permits the use of slow damped oscillatory waves on communication lines using a capacitive coupling clamp (IEC 61000-4-18 does not recommend this practise for slow DOW).
The DOW-CG1 generator and CN-EFT1000 capacitive coupling clamp can be used to do this.A fast DOW module must be installed in the DOW-CG1 in order to perform experiments using fast damped oscillatory waves. It can utilise the internal three-phase CDN for power lines (same capabilities as above).
A capacitive coupling clamp called the CN-EFT1000 can be used to apply fast DOW to communication and control lines.
