Direct digital synthesis (DDS) is a process for creating an analogue waveform, often a sine wave, by first creating a time-varying digital signal and then converting it to analogue.
A function generator is typically a piece of software or electronic test equipment used to produce various electrical waveforms across a broad range of frequencies.
The sine wave, square wave, triangle wave, and sawtooth waveforms are some of the most popular waveforms created by the function generator. They come in both repeated and one-shot waveforms (which requires an internal or external trigger source). The option to add a DC offset is another feature found on many function generators.
Already available is the DDS signal generator v2.0. It is clear that the original developer deserves full credit for both the firmware and the schematic. Here is an alternative PCB that is small, single-sided, and has just through-hole components for simple assembly.
One for the DDS signal and another for the high-speed [1 to 8 MHz] square signal (BNC1) (BNC2). Two potentiometers can control the offset and amplitude: the offset has a range of +5V to -5V (POT1) and the amplitude has a range of 0V to 10V. (POT2).
Left and right arrow buttons are used to change the frequency value, while up and down arrow buttons are used to change the function type (sine, triangle, etc.). The frequency step can be changed using a separate menu as well. The signal production begins when the middle button is pressed. A second press of the middle button ends the signal.
Global DDS function generator market accounted for $XX Billion in 2023 and is anticipated to reach $XX Billion by 2030, registering a CAGR of XX% from 2024 to 2030.
30MHz DDS Function Generator with 200MSa/s sampling rate, 1Hz full-band resolution, and USB connectivity a versatile, high-performance arbitrary waveform generator that is affordable.
Direct digital synthesis (DDS) technology is used by the Metravi DDS-30, an affordable, high-performance, multi-functional arbitrary waveform generator, to create precise and stable waveforms. It is able to provide output signals that are precise, stable, pure, and low in distortion.
Its user-friendly graphical presentation style, superior technological indices, and intuitive interface make it easy for users to finish study and exam assignments quickly, increasing productivity.
During design and production, the Metravi DDS-30 strictly complies with the IEC 61010-1 safety standard and GB4 793 safety regulations for electrical equipment. It conforms with insulated over-voltage CAT II 300V and Pollution Level II safety requirements.
