The volume flow of gases, liquids, and steam is measured by the differential pressure flow meter. They are especially useful when a large diameter, high temperature, or pressure are involved. They are mostly used in the power, oil, and gas, and chemical industries.
DP flow meters are able to precisely measure the flow of fluid within a pipe by inserting a restriction or obstruction that results in a pressure drop. More pressure drop is produced as the pipe flow increases. The differential tension is a proportion of the level of a liquid in a device, for instance a pilgrim, or the level in a reactor of a compound plant.
Users can easily and accurately monitor the conditions of filters, liquid levels in closed tanks, liquid flow rates inside a pipe, and even hydraulic motor output torque by measuring differential pressure. There are three strategies for estimating pressure. The difference in air pressure between two points in a system is referred to as differential pressure.
To avoid contamination in cleanrooms, the right balance of positive or negative differential pressure must be maintained.
TheGlobal Differential Pressure Flow meter marketaccounted for $XX Billion in 2023 and is anticipated to reach $XX Billion by 2030, registering a CAGR of XX% from 2024 to 2030.
The AirFlow P is a new differential pressure flow meter from ENVEA that can measure volume flow even in dust-laden applications. The AirFlow P always delivers reliable measured values, regardless of whether the sensor is used in an environment with low dust loads or harsh conditions. This is true even when the sensor is used in difficult conditions, such as high dust loads.
Because of this, the AirFlow P is the ideal instrument for measuring volumetric flow in locations where duct conversions are not feasible or desirable or where differential pressure measurements are ineffective due to excessive dust loading. No venturi or similar conversions are required to install the AirFlow P on existing ductwork.
The AirFlow P is able to measure speed with great precision thanks to two antennas that stick out of the air duct. The AirFlow P system provides a signal at the analogue output cubic meters per hour (v x A) if the area of the duct is stored on the evaluation unit.
Using the most recent technologies, the AirFlow P can be used to measure a volume flow in clean gas ducts with a dust load of only a few milligrams per cubic meter. It can also be used as a pure speed measuring device, for example, to keep the actual material velocity constant.
The sensor, an evaluation unit, and a special process adapter make up the AirFlow P system. The antennas for the sensor are interchangeable and available in a variety of configurations. As a result, the AirFlow P can be utilized in virtually every process setting. One evaluation unit can be used to average up to three measuring points for larger channels.
