Electro-pneumatic actuators are widely used to automate a variety of industrial applications, ranging from manufacturing to assembly and packaging. Pneumatic components in electro-pneumatic actuators are controlled by electrical components such as sensors, switches, and industrial computer systems.
The electro-pneumatic action is a control system for pipe organs that uses air pressure to open and close valves within wind chests, allowing the pipes to speak. It is controlled by an electric current and operated by the keys of an organ console.
The term "pneumatic motor" is a fancy way of saying "air motor." In essence, it is a mechanism that converts compressed air into energy for mechanical work. These motors can provide continuous power.
The Global Electro-Pneumatic Motor market accounted for $XX Billion in 2022 and is anticipated to reach $XX Billion by 2030, registering a CAGR of XX% from 2023 to 2030.
A body defining a continuous bore is part of a pneumatic assembly for a projectile launching system. A nozzle is positioned within the bore adjacent to the forward end and is movable between a rearward position that allows a projectile to pass through a projectile port and a forward position that prevents a projectile from passing through the projectile port.
The nozzle is biassed forward and is set up for fluid actuation to the rearward position via a first fluid control valve activation. An accumulation chamber is defined by a valve seat located behind the nozzle.Current airsoft projectile launching systems (as well as non-airsoft systems) use pneumatic and spring power sources.
Each has flaws that impair accuracy, usability, and/or durability. Current spring-powered launching systems, for example, use a compressed spring to drive a piston longitudinally within a cylinder, compressing air in front of the piston. As the air is compressed, it is directed behind the projectile to launch it from a barrel.
The spring can be compressed by hand or by an electric motor. These systems are prone to mechanical failure due to the stresses imposed by the compressed spring. In addition to the shortcomings in durability, the impact of the piston at the end of its travel reduces accuracy in spring-powered systems.
Pneumatic launching systems with independent control and timing of the nozzle and valve (stacked tube configuration) are bulky and will not fit into the space available for an airsoft gun. As a result, better projectile launching systems are required.
