The ready-to-use formulation crosslinks when heated. Since SILRES® H60 A/B does not produce any chemical byproducts during curing, the shrinkage during curing is hardly perceptible. Even when in contact with air, the product thermosets in substantial layers.

 

Excellent electrical insulating qualities and exceptional long-term heat resistance are both features of fully cured SILRES® H60 A/B. Additionally, it has strong resistance to UV light, moisture, and weathering it can thus be continuously exposed to weather conditions that are constantly changing or UV radiation.
