For space-efficient high voltage power distribution in an electric car, Ampere EV designed the HVJB-5-400, Atom Drive Junction Box, in-house.

 

The Atom Drive Junction Box is a fantastic solution when space is restricted because it is constructed to OEM-level quality.

 

The Atom Drive Junction Box has several important features, including integrated high voltage interlock loop, fused high voltage accessory ports, main contactor, high voltage precharge circuit, and high voltage discharge circuit.  

 

As a result, a single HVJB-5-400 can run one motor or other high-power component in addition to five high voltage accessories.  Every high voltage connection is fused, and the battery's high voltage outputs can be turned off using a negative contactor.
