This is consistent with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's recent remarks about the importance of developing a local-level flood warning system, which he made during a meeting with the Chief Ministers of six states (Assam, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Karnataka, and Kerala).

 

The nature-based dangers may now be incorporated into early warning systems, which is how FEWS is built, the director general of TERI remarked during the inaugural event. The outcomes of these assessments can improve the resilience of the nation's flood-prone cities and regions when combined with science communication.
