New Two-Channel PB7220 Portable Frequency Domain Terahertz Analyzer by EMCORE is launched. The PB7220-2000-T/R can detect a sample's transmission and reflection characteristics simultaneously in phase coherent fashion.

The PB7220 series uses fibre-coupled, semiconductor distributed feedback lasers that are precisely tuned and place all of the THz power at the frequency of interest.

 

This results in excellent signal-to-noise ratios of up to 70 dB Hz across the scan range. The PB7220 line also offers an entirely turnkey, portable THz spectrometer system thanks to its cutting-edge digital control hardware and software.
