INTRODUCTION

RECENT DEVELOPMENT
The AquaStar sewer suction truck cleaning vehicle is being electrified in collaboration between the Liechtenstein-based Kaiser and the Swiss electromobility business Designwerk.
Only because of Designwerk's and Kaiser's extensive experience in the electrification of special utility vehicles is the technically challenging project finally becoming feasible.
The two companies work together to create the first totally electric sewer cleaning vehicle, which technically replaces its diesel equivalent completely and operates without limitations. a pioneer in both technology and ecology.
The new Designwerk vehicle, dubbed the Mid Cab Sewer Cleaner, has a battery capacity of up to 508 kilowatt hours, enabling everyday operation for up to 8 hours without intermediate recharge.
With a charging capacity of up to 350 kW, the e-suction truck may be fully recharged after use. For the stable high pumping power, which is currently unmatched on the market, two high-performance PTOs are used. This vehicle is the most potent alternative drive, with continuous powers of 104 kW each and peak powers of 125 kW each.
