Advantech Launches NVIDIA T4 GPU Edge Computing Solution for Industrial Applications Advantech, a leading provider of intelligent systems, is pleased to announce the availability of its GPU edge computing solution with NVIDIA T4 GPU NVQual Validation: the MIC-770 compact industrial computer with a MIC-75M20-B expansion i-Module.
The GPU edge computing solution, which is compatible with the NVIDIA® T4 GPU Card, supports up to 2,560 CUDA cores and 16GB GDDR6 GPU memory.
It is an excellent AIoT solution for deep learning and inference applications such as factory automation, automated optical inspection (AOI), AI prediction in medical equipment, and smart sensing in autonomous vehicles, thanks to its compact size (127 x 192 x 230 mm) and a high-scalable design, as well as the longevity of the Tesla T4 GPU card.
The solution, which includes a dedicated server-grade air duct design that allows for improved thermal management of the Tesla T4 GPU, keeps the GPU IC operating temperature below 80 °C/176 °F in environmental conditions above 40 °C/104 °F.
This design reduces operating temperature significantly, resulting in superior GPU performance and clock frequency.
