To limit climate change and reduce air pollution, numerous nations have legislated to phase out the sale of fossil fuel vehicles, while others have established tax credits, subsidies, and other non-monetary incentives for plug-in electric vehicles.

The launch of So-Mob!, Digital Kap's sister company, was recently announced. The electric motorcycle So-Mob, whose tagline is "Mobility Fueled by Solar," is the first of its kind in Haiti.
Solar power has been used to design and optimize these motorcycles for charging. Along with the motorcycles, DigitalKap offers charging station solar kits that can be purchased and used at home.
This project has been in the works for more than a year, but given the fuel crisis in Haiti right now, it couldn't have happened at a better time.
When it came to transportation, there was no alternative to relying on gasoline or diesel fuel prior to So-Mob.
We are proud to be the first in Haiti to offer a sustainable mode of transportation and to demonstrate to Haitians that there are other options for getting around.
