The purpose of shuttle valves is to control the flow of fluid from two sources. The shuttle valve is equipped with a straightforward sealing device that can move around freely. The shuttle sealing element is forced to the opposite end of the chamber when pressurised fluid enters the shuttle valve chamber (shown in orange at 1500 psi).
When landed, the sealing element creates a barrier preventing flow from the second flow source into the chamber while still allowing flow via the central opening (shown as the lower flow path). Backflow from one flow source to the other is avoided by the shuttle valve. There are various categories in which to place a directional control valve.
The most popular approach is based on the fluid’s path.
The Global hydraulic Shuttle Valves market accounted for $XX Billion in 2021 and is anticipated to reach $XX Billion by 2030, registering a CAGR of XX% from 2022 to 2030.
