The in-line, fully electronic Ignition Safety Device is used to ignite rocket motors. The ISD, which is housed in stainless steel, operates by accepting arm/fire signals and DC electrical input power, validating safety logic, and generating high voltage for the ignition of a Low Energy Exploding Foil Initiator device.
