Creams, ointments, gels, and even thick liquids are commonly packaged in tubes. It's also utilized for solids since it adds a layer of protection to the contents, keeping them from breaking.
Tubes can now store a wider range of contents thanks to the introduction of plastic tubes rather than aluminum tubes.
However, aluminum tubes and cardboard tubes with eco-friendly credentials are still widely used. Tubes are increasingly the preferred packing container for many things, with tube closures available in a variety of sizes and forms.
The India Tube Packaging Market accounted for $XX Billion in 2021 and is anticipated to reach $XX Billion by 2026, registering a CAGR of XX% from 2024 to 2030.
EPL Limited, an Indian multinational firm that manufactures laminated plastic tubes, revealed today that one of its key brand partners, Vici Labs, has made the switch to 100 percent recyclable packaging.
Vici labs and EPL collaborated to adapt Vici's Turmeric product line to recyclable Platina tubes. Before the items are released into the market, the Vici Labs and EPL teams collaborate to complete the necessary testing and guarantee that quality norms are followed.
U flex, an Indian packaging company, has introduced Kartika paper-based tubes under its Flexi Tubes brand. Moisture-resistant kraft paper is placed between layers of plastic in the Kartika tubes.
Based on the product's application and tube diameters, this allows for a plastic reduction of nearly 50% to 70%. The tubes are made of virgin kraft paper with a low cobb value (low moisture absorption) and a high burst value (tube integrity).
The paper is FSC certified and adds rigidity to the tube's body, allowing it to bounce back. Furthermore, even after constant use and lowering of the contents, the paper keeps the tube from collapsing.
