     Multi-line lasers, also known as multiline or multi-wavelength lasers, are laser sources that emit light with multiple spectral lines, typically all in the same laser beam or with a single fiber output.

For instance, there are RGB sources that emit red, green, and blue laser light, which can be regarded as triple-line lasers, for display applications or for special illumination purposes.

    MAKITA INTRODUCES NEW 12VMAX CXT MULTI-LINE LASERS TO ITS RANGE.. Two 12Vmax CXT multi-line lasers have been added to Makita’s extensive line of site equipment as part of a number of new product launches. One horizontal and two vertical 360° lines are projected by the multi-line lasers, which also have a precise self-leveling feature for quick setup, layout, and alignment.

     

    The 12Vmax CXT Red Multi-Line Laser (SK700DZ) and 12Vmax CXT Green Multi-Line Laser (SK700GDZ) have a variety of features that make work on the job site as easy as possible. They are both versatile and durable.

     

    The green lasers of the SK700GDZ offer an increased range of 35 metres (70 metres diameter) and better line visibility in brighter conditions than the red multi-line laser, which has a range of 25 metres in each direction (50 metres in diameter).

     

    The sturdy units have an operating temperature range of -10 to 50 oC, are IP54 (dust and splash water) rated, and have a 1/4 inch tripod thread for simple mounting.
