INTRODUCTION

 A form of resistor known as a Nichrome film resistor is constructed from a thin layer of the nickel-chromium alloy Nichrome.

 

NiCr thin film resistors are widely used in resistor technology today. Vacuum deposited NiCr alloys cover a wide range of applications, from discrete resistors to high-performance hybrid integrated circuits.
