The surge in customer demand for ready-to-transport and handy items, as well as the environmentally benign aspect of cartons, have fueled the expansion of the liquid packaging carton. Liquid packing cartons also provide a number of advantages.
They are easily moldable, inexpensive, sustainable, and renewable, and they contribute to market expansion as compared to traditional packaging technologies.
Furthermore, advantageous qualities of liquid cartons such as lightweight, extended shelf life, and biodegradable properties considerably raise their demand across a number of final-use sectors, adding to industry trends in the liquid carton market.
Manufacturers choose these cartons because of their ease, mobility, recyclability, and environmental friendliness. They’re made to transport liquids including milk and dairy goods, bottled water, liquid food products, soft drinks, and juices.
The North America Liquid Packaging Carton Market accounted for $XX Billion in 2021 and is anticipated to reach $XX Billion by 2026, registering a CAGR of XX% from 2022 to 2027.
Elopak has announced the launch of the Pure-Pak eSense carton, an aseptic carton without an aluminium layer that is more ecologically friendly.
The Pure-Pak eSense carton is manufactured with a polyolefin mix barrier instead of aluminium and was designed utilising technologies from their fresh portfolio as well as their conventional sustainably derived paperboard.
This results in a 50% reduced carbon footprint* and complete recyclability as compared to a regular Pure-Pak aseptic carton.
The Pure-Pak eSense carton is totally renewable due to its lack of an aluminium coating. It also makes recycling easier since the new polyolefin structure allows for a one-step separation of the fibres and polyolefin layers, and the polyolefin material contains no value-reducing components.
Furthermore, the carton is built with simple folding crease lines that allow customers to dump all of the items inside before folding the carton for easier recycling and less food waste.
