    Oven-controlled crystal oscillators (OCXO) are introduced by IQD. The IQOV-220 OCXO has low phase noise and high stability.

     

    It has a short-term stability (Allan deviation) of 0.5ppt (tau=1s) with frequency stability performance down to 0.5ppb (parts per billion) across the entire industrial temperature range of -40 to 85°C.

     

    According to IQD, the IQOV-220 is suitable for high-performance synthesizers, network clocks, radar, and satellite communications with a holdover spec of 6S over 24 hours, close in phase noise of typically -140dBC/Hz at 10Hz, and far out phase noise of typically -160dBc/Hz at 100kHz.

     

    The IQOV-220 is available in 10 MHz and is packaged in a 36 x 27 mm hermetically sealed through-hole metal package, which is the industry standard.

     

    The Sinewave OCXO has a frequency adjustment on Pin 2 that enables the frequency to be pulled by 0.4ppm (parts per million) with a control voltage of 0 to 8V, which will be sufficient to cover 10 years of ageing.

     

    It can drive up to 50 loads and operates at 12V, consuming a maximum of 5W during warm up and 1.2W at steady state at 25oC.
