PCB INSPECTION CAMERA MARKET
INTRODUCTION
Board cameras, also commonly called printed circuit board (PCB) cameras, are a type of small-footprint video camera that are valued for their general versatility. With optical devices and image sensors mounted directly on a circuit board, manufacturers are able to sacrifice components to provide a space-saving design.
PCB inspection is the act of mitigating errors or mistakes that may have emerged during the fabrication and assembly processes. This is done through a series of procedures that have largely become automated. PCB inspection is required throughout multiple stages of the assembly process.
Inspection cameras typically have a long, flexible probe or arm attached to the base unit. The camera module is mounted on the end of the probe. The display will show what the camera sees once it is manoeuvred into position. Often, a small screen lets you view the live video relay
