Belite Aircraft, a leader in ultralight aviation and avionics, has created an air computer that enables experimental and homebuilt aircraft to easily adopt new digital instrumentation.

 

In a very compact design, the air computer gives the pilot essential flight information. Additionally, Belite's instrumentation now offers multiple functionality on a single device.

 

Examples include putting a vertical speed indicator (VSI), an air speed indicator (ASI), or an above-ground altimeter (AGL) together on one instrument.

 

A dual VSI/ASI, VSI/AGL, or an AGL/VSI are the outcomes of this. Additionally, Belite now has twin CHT/EGT gauge combinations, a Positive/Negative G Meter, dual Fuel Gauge, and much more.

 

The new instruments come in two standard sizes: the current 1.75" square and the 2.25" circular configuration.

 

 

Indicator for dual air speed. This novel instrument outputs a digital altitude and concurrently displays an ASI using the Belite Air Computer.

 

The 1.75" square and 2.25" round models come in performance ranges of 28-82MPH. The 2.25" round type is also offered in the 35-135 KIAS range.

 

This can display rates up to 1500 FPM, depending on the model. A digital LCD display may be connected to the unit's Altitude output connection, which offers another feature.

 

Additionally, single display units with the same size gauges are offered for ASI.
