Rail-to-Rail Output ADC Driver for 36V Radiation Hardened Precision Instrumentation Amplifier. For precise analog-to-digital applications, the ISL70517SEH is a high performance, differential input, single-ended output instrumentation amplifier.

 

It has a differential input voltage range of up to 30V and can function over a supply range of 8V (4V) to 36V (18V). For ADC driver applications, the output stage includes rail-to-rail output drive capability. Separate supplies are used to power the output stage.

 

With the help of this feature, the output can be powered by the same low-voltage supplies that are used to run the ADC, offering protection from both high- and low-voltage digital circuits.

 

Due to its adaptability, it may be used for many general purpose applications.

 

High levels of DC precision and outstanding AC performance are made possible by additional characteristics not present in conventional instrumentation amplifiers.

 

Through the use of two external resistors, RIN and RFB, the ISL70517SEH's gain may be set anywhere between 0.1 and 10,000. The matching of RIN and RFB determines the gain accuracy.

 

Gain error caused by PC trace resistance is eliminated by the Kelvin sensing of the gain resistors.

 

Individual power supply pins on the input and output stages allow input signals operating at high common-mode voltages to be level-shifted to a low voltage component, such as an A/D converter.
