The Reverse Displacement Motors (RDMs) are two-position axial piston motors with an integrated servo piston and moderate power. They are made specifically to work in open circuit, non-propulsion applications.
This motor combines reverse functionality with the simplicity of open circuit design without the need for additional external valves (HICs), as it can shift over center. Danfoss's publication provides design guidelines for fan drive systems: Systems for Hydraulic Fan Drive.
TheGlobal Reverse displacement motor marketaccounted for $XX Billion in 2022 and is anticipated to reach $XX Billion by 2030, registering a CAGR of XX% from 2023 to 2030.
The innovative Reverse Displacement Motor (RDM) developed by Danfoss has been expanded. An unprecedented hydraulic system solution for mobile equipment applications is the open circuit piston motor's reverse circuit functionality without external valves. With more extensive item choices, the RDM can be intended to address individual issues of clients, expanding capability and worth.
Customers can reduce system complexity, save up to 15% on average, and save up to 10% on power consumption with the RDM. Through increased displacement and control options, new RDM options give customers more functionality. The following new options are now available for the compact motor: Speed Sensor, a 45cc, 38cc, and a 24V valve.
The RDM system solution can be used on larger machines thanks to the new increased displacements. The RDM is enhanced to accommodate additional machine electric architectures by the addition of a 24V valve and a new speed sensor option for more precise system efficiency control. In addition, the RDM has an integrated proportional shifting valve that operates at 12 volts.
This valve makes it possible to reverse quickly and smoothly using system pressure. The external valves and pressure supply that are required in typical reversing solutions are eliminated from this simplified design, saving money, pressure losses, and the requirement for additional components.
As recently declared, the RDM is correlative to the Danfoss Series 45 open circuit hub cylinder siphons, PLUS+1 microcontrollers and DP700 PLUS+1 portable machine shows, and is great for fan drive frameworks in Level 4 agribusiness, ranger service and development hardware applications.
The RDM's reverse function lets the fan get rid of dirt and debris that has been stuck, improving cooling performance. Danfoss fan drive bundles including the RDM can be tuned to meet the novel cooling prerequisites of Level 4 gear applications.
