In a row crop tractor, the cultivator and farm tractor are combined into one unit. The key selling point of this tractor is its comfort since it has a cabin that shields the operator from dirt and dust. Row crop farm equipment is a good all-arounder that can effectively complete any farming duty.
This machine's primary job is to grow crops in a row and then cultivate them. Sunflower, potato, canola, flax, dry bean, and other crops can all be grown using row crop tractors. All of these plants are row crops, as their names implies.
The Global Row Crop Tractor market accounted for $XX Billion in 2023 and is anticipated to reach $XX Billion by 2030, registering a CAGR of XX% from 2024 to 2030.
New row-crop tractors from John Deere's 7 series have been launched. The CommandView II cab is one of the elements that has been brought over from the 8R series. Electronic steering, a touch screen display with video capabilities, knob-style controls, an adjustable seat, and a tonne of additional storage are all included. Additionally, visibility has been improved so that the drawbar can be seen clearly. A new cab suspension option automatically adapts to meet bumps.
Depending on the model, there are two new engine and transmission options under the hood. The new 6.8L PowerTech PSX engine is installed in the 7200R and 7215R, while the new 9.0L PowerTech PVX engine is installed in the 7230R, 7260R, and 7280R. Neither engine requires diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) to comply with Tier 4i emissions requirements. The need to shift is decreased or eliminated with a powershift or completely automatic infinitely variable gearbox (IVT) option, which also maintains low rpm to conserve fuel.
In comparison to their large-frame 7030 series predecessors, the new tractors have a 23% higher hitch-lift capacity. They also include an optional integrated front hitch and PTO for front-driven equipment including triple-mounted mower conditioners, snowblowers, and other attachments. A new three-speed economy PTO with power-assist PTO shifting is an option for rear-driven equipment to reduce fuel consumption. Up to six SCVs, choices for larger tyres, and the addition of right-hand steps for simple access to the tractor's right side are further new features.
