    The 8 Series Sampling Oscilloscope Platform is launched by Tektronix. A disaggregated modular instrument series with the best measurement accuracy for PAM4 optical signals on multiple inputs concurrently, parallel acquisition, and up to four channels per mainframe.

     

    The 8 Series is made up of the TSO820 Sampling Oscilloscope Mainframe, optical sampling modules, and TSOVu, a brand-new software platform that processes obtained data both live and offline on host PCs without relying on the mainframe. 

     

    The TCR801 is a dual band external optical clock recovery module by Tektronix that supports the 26GBd and 53GBd ranges. These tools and programs offer a platform for quick data capture and analysis.The mainframe for the 8 Series has the lowest modular form factor on the market, measuring 3U high and being highly flexible.

     

     This instrument, which was designed to make the most of the rack space available, is perfect for optical manufacturing applications because it allows users to easily add additional analysis capabilities and reconfigure test systems to suit evolving standards and workflow changes.

     

    The TSO820’s analysis and visualisation capabilities are extended through offline and remote modes of operation to a user computing environment, enabling a smooth transition from the design phase to debug, characterization, and manufacturing test.
