On its lone land border, the Atlantic Ocean, Sierra Leone is a nation on the coast of West Africa. Its surface area of 71,740 kms makes it slightly bigger than Ireland or slightly smaller than the state of South Carolina in the United States. The Republic of Sierra Leone, sometimes known as Sierra Leone, is a nation on the southwest coast of West Africa.
The southern half of the country is surrounded by Guinea, and the northern half is bounded by Liberia. Savannas, rainforests, and other different ecosystems can all be found in Sierra Leone, which has a tropical climate. Freetown is the nation's capital and largest metropolis. The nation is organized into five administrative areas, each of which is further broken down into districts.
The transport industry in Sierra Leone has a significant opportunity to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, and CO2 emissions have increased significantly. Transport is the nation's single largest consumer of petroleum and the sector with the fastest-growing energy demand, yet there is no credible information available on the country's GHG emissions split down by industry.
According to Sierra Leone's Intended Nationally Determined Contribution (INDC), the country wants to attain carbon neutrality or maintain relatively low emission levels, hence the transportation industry needs to significantly increase its energy efficiency.
Electric vehicles are charged using equipment known as EV chargers. The major objective is to keep the battery charged in order to preserve an electric vehicle's mobility.
The Sierra Leone EV Charger Market accounted for $XX Billion in 2023 and is anticipated to reach $XX Billion by 2030, registering a CAGR of XX% from 2024 to 2030.
