    The UVISEL 2 is a fully automated platform with a patented vision system, eight computer-selectable achromatic spot sizes, fast scanning, high-resolution monochromators, and a wide spectral range of 190-2100 nm, making it a one-of-a-kind solution for efficient and quick thin film characterisation.

     

    The goniometer, XYZ stage, sample adjustment, and microspot optics are all performed automatically by the UVISEL 2, a highly automated instrument. A real-time vision system and microspots make spot positioning on a sample simple and accurate.

     

    Even with a small spot size, the user is able to carry out measurements across a broad spectral range thanks to a selection of eight achromatic spots (down to 35 m). This one-of-a-kind system always makes it possible to get an image, regardless of whether the surface is rough, smooth, transparent, or reflective.

     

    With its new electronics and robust phase modulation control, the UVISEL 2 is the most sensitive and accurate spectroscopic ellipsometer on the market.

     

    It can characterize advanced optical and material properties like anisotropy and gradient, detect very thin layers like graphene, and follow ultra-fast kinetic phenomena at speeds of up to 1 millisecond per point.
