A heat pump is a device that transfers heat from a colder area to a hotter area using electricity. It can be used for both heating and cooling purposes in buildings. There are different types of heat pumps, such as air-source, ground-source, water-source and exhaust air heat pumps.
Heat pumps are more energy-efficient than other heating systems because they move heat rather than generate it. The efficiency of a heat pump is measured by its coefficient of performance (COP) or seasonal coefficient of performance (SCOP), which indicate how much heat is delivered per unit of electricity consumed
A heat pump works by using a refrigerant to transfer heat between two spaces. The refrigerant can change its state from liquid to gas and vice versa by using a compressor and an expansion valve. The direction of the heat transfer depends on the position of a reversing valve that switches the roles of the indoor and outdoor coils
In heating mode, the heat pump takes heat from the outside air and releases it inside the house. The refrigerant is compressed by the compressor and becomes a hot gas. It then passes through the indoor coil where it transfers heat to the indoor air and condenses into a liquid.
The liquid refrigerant then goes through the expansion valve and becomes a cold gas. It then passes through the outdoor coil where it absorbs heat from the outside air and evaporates into a gas again.
In cooling mode, the heat pump takes heat from the inside air and releases it outside the house. The reversing valve changes the direction of the refrigerant flow, so the outdoor coil becomes the condenser and the indoor coil becomes the evaporator. The refrigerant is compressed by the compressor and becomes a hot gas.
It then passes through the outdoor coil where it transfers heat to the outdoor air and condenses into a liquid. The liquid refrigerant then goes through the expansion valve and becomes a cold gas. It then passes through the indoor coil where it absorbs heat from the indoor air and evaporates into a gas again
The UAE HVAC heat pump market accounted for $XX Billion in 2022 and is anticipated to reach $XX Billion by 2030, registering a CAGR of XX% from 2023 to 2030.
DAIKIN FIT Heat Pump – DZ6VS:
The Daikin Fit system is a side discharge, smart HVAC system that won’t compromise on comfort and connects to ducted solutions traditional to the unitary market. In a market saturated with expensive high-tier inverters, the system provides a premium mid-efficiency inverter at an affordable rate. The low profile of the outdoor unit offers solutions when a traditional cube style cannot
DZ20VC:
When properly matched and installed, your communicating DZ20VC Variable Speed Heat Pump offers up to 21 SEER high-efficiency performance. The higher the SEER, the greater the efficiency — and the lower the operating cost compared to lower SEER units. In many applications, the efficiency of your DZ20VC can be enhanced by using it in conjunction with a Daikin brand gas furnace or air handler that includes a variable-speed blower motor. This unit features a powder-paint finish over heavy-gauge galvanized steel that provides premium durability and excellent UV protection.
