The procedure known as video bronchoscopy is used to look for abnormalities in the chest's airways, lungs, or lymph nodes, as well as to treat conditions like airway obstruction caused by foreign bodies or abnormal growths. Most of the time, a bronchoscopy is done to look at abnormal findings on a chest X-ray or CT scan and get biopsies for future research.
A rigid bronchoscope is thicker and longer than a flexible one. An eyepiece or video camera at the opposite end receives an image from the instrument's tip via a fiber optic system.
The practitioner can navigate the instrument into individual lobes or segment bronchi by orienting the instrument's tip with Bowden cables connected to a lever at the hand piece.
A channel for suctioning or instrumentation is also present in the majority of flexible bronchoscopes, but these channels are significantly smaller than those found in rigid ones .In comparison to rigid bronchoscopy, flexible bronchoscopy is less painful for the patient and can be performed comfortably and safely with moderate sedation.
TheGlobal Video bronchoscopes marketaccounted for $XX Billion in 2022 and is anticipated to reach $XX Billion by 2030, registering a CAGR of XX% from 2024 to 2030.
At the National Conference NAPCON in Udaipur, Fujifilm India unveiled a new slim video bronchoscope called the EB-710P to expand its pulmonology solutions portfolio.
The EB-710P is a slender endoscope outfitted with an outstandingly minimal CMOS sensor. Because the tip of this technology is able to penetrate the lung's periphery much more easily than a conventional system. Additionally, the endoscope has a rotation mechanism that enables the user to safely return it to its initial position prior to withdrawal.
Fujifilm will offer its most complete line of pulmonology products, from screening to treatment planning, with the new EB-710P Slim Video Bronchoscope. The ergonomic grip and teardrop-shaped dial that is used with the rotation function make handling easy. The innovative EB-710P endoscope system improves bronchoscopy safety and comfort by rotating and having a small diameter.
Fujifilm India has forever been at the front of medical services development. They are expanding our pulmonology product line with the introduction of the new EB-710P bronchoscope.
The objective is to provide cutting-edge technological medical facilities that can aid in the prevention of fatalities and foster patient involvement in their care.
