    ELECTRIC CONDUCTIVITY SENSOR MARKET

    INTRODUCTION

The electrical conductivity of a solution is measured using an electrical conductivity meter (EC meter). It is frequently used in hydroponic, aquaculture, aquaponic, and freshwater systems to monitor the amount of nutrients, salts, or pollutants in the water. It has numerous uses in research and engineering.

Common laboratory conductivity meters use four electrodes and a potentiometric technique. The electrodes are frequently cylindrical and placed in a concentric pattern[citation required]. Typically, the electrodes are constructed of platinum metal.

The outer pair of electrodes receives an alternating current application. The inner pair’s potential is measured[citation needed]. Ohm’s law may theoretically be used to calculate conductivity using the distance between the electrodes and their surface area, but for precision, electrolytes with known conductivities are typically used as a calibration.

A probe is placed into the water to measure the conductivity of it. The instrument measures the conductivity and outputs a temperature-compensated conductivity value using the electrodes in the probe and internal circuitry.

The global  Electric Conductivity Sensor market accounted for $XX Billion in 2023 and is anticipated to reach $XX Billion by 2030, registering a CAGR of XX% from 2024 to 2030.

    NEW PRODUCT LAUNCH

The IST AG LFS1107 conductivity sensor has an operating temperature range of -30 °C to +100 °C, a typical cell constant of 0.42 cm-1, and a conductivity measuring range of 10 S/cm to 200 mS/cm. Additionally, it can tolerate temperatures above 130 °C, enabling procedures like autoclaving for sterilization.

It has the widest conductivity and temperature range and a new glass coating for increased chemical resistance. Its excellent long-term stability, improved chemical resistance, and small footprint. Four-electrode measurement and an integrated RTD for temperature correction are included.

The standard wires for the IST AG LFS1107 conductivity sensor are either Pt/Ni wires or Cu/Ag wires with PTFE insulation (AWG 30). The conductivity of the majority of electrolyte solutions may be measured by conductivity sensors, which are crucial in detecting the quality of water.

Among other uses, IST AG conductivity sensors are a great choice for water quality and wastewater treatment.
