A smart motor is essentially a motor that combines several additional components into a single physical object. A motor and drive are common configurations, although they can also incorporate integrated encoders and controllers, as well as wiring and communication connections.
The Smart Motor module transforms the battery’s electrical energy into rotational energy. Robots are powered by motors, which turn wheels, move arms, and close claws. Connecting the output shafts is simple thanks to the motor’s square output socket.
A tool that transforms electrical energy into mechanical energy is an electric motor. According to science, an electric motor is a device that transforms electrical energy into mechanical energy, or electrical energy into motive energy.
The Europe smart motor market accounted for $XX Billion in 2022 and is anticipated to reach $XX Billion by 2030, registering a CAGR of XX% from 2023 to 2030.
Industrial factories utilise a variety of motor types; therefore, the conditions of the motors are validated on a regular basis to ensure safe and stable operations at different sites.
Through a Channel Partner Agreement with the American company Analog Devices, Inc., TMEIC Asia Pte. Ltd (hence, “TMEIC Asia”) introduced the Smart Motor Sensor “TMASMS,” a high-performance predictive maintenance platform for electric motors based on artificial intelligence (AI).
TMEIC Asia has launched an AI-based smart motor sensor called TMASMS. There was a need for a system that could replace manual operation with highly qualified professionals for monitoring motors and assessing conditions since monitoring the conditions of motors demands technical expertise and experience.TMEIC Asia introduced the Smart Motor Sensor “TMASMS” for electric motors to meet these customer needs.
TMASMS, which is made possible by Analog Devices’ OtoSense® hardware and software solutions, enables the early prediction of motor failures and contributes to the steady operation of factories and plants by continuously monitoring and analysing data using artificial intelligence (AI).
This analysis will cover key diagnostic items, predict what may be the cause of motor failure, and present workable solutions on a dashboard screen. TMEIC Asia will be able to broaden the appeal of this motor monitoring solution by signing a channel partner agreement with Analog Devices.
