A weft insertion system consists of a reed with magnetic material pits and at least one rapier with at least one permanent magnet whose direction of polarisation extends along a direction that is perpendicular to a weft yarn clamping device for drawing a weft.
The reed has a variable magnetic permeability along its longitudinal axis, at least one permanent magnet exerts an attractive magnetic effort (E, E′) between the rapier and the dents of the reed when the reed is in the back position, the rapier has a lateral face directed towards the reed, and the at least one permanent magnet has a direction of polarisation perpendicular to the dir.
Global weft insertion machine market accounted for $XX Billion in 2023 and is anticipated to reach $XX Billion by 2030, registering a CAGR of XX% from 2024 to 2030.
The TM WEFT, a novel warp knitting machine with weft insertion created by KARL MAYER, was successfully introduced during an internal display conducted at its Chinese subsidiary in Changzhou. Between January 15 and January 18, 2019, representatives from over ten companies attended the machine presentation.
These attendees included knitters, weavers, and finishers who were interested in transitioning into the textile production industry.
Both machines were operating at a high pace of 1,500 min-1 with excellent levels of stability. The idea as a whole was very well appreciated. Hagen Lotzmann received feedback to the effect that their customers were impressed by our focus on the functions, easy operation and reliability of the TM WEFT.
” They Had numerous discussions pertaining to particular projects with Steffen Trabers from ILLIES China, the company’s agent in the region. The first machines have already been sold, and over the next months, more orders are anticipated.
The TM WEFT, a basic model, is intended to complement the current WEFTTRONIC II HKS, which will continue to be offered for the high-end market, with its features and conceptual approach. Thus, KARL MAYER’s Technical Textiles Business Unit is expanding its tried-and-true two product line strategy.
The visitors came from many parts of China, primarily Jiangsu and Zheijiang, as well as Shandong and Hebei. The devices on display had an excellent cost-benefit ratio, which impressed everyone. Two TM WEFT, 247″, E 24 models were on display; each produced an interlining, i.e., a traditional fabric with one guide bar and a variation with greater drapeability for unique applications.
