Growth is also being spurred by the quickening shift in expectations, which puts pressure on logistics companies to invest in new technologies and strategies and to innovate in order to meet these demands.

In addition, the pandemic increased the pace of e-commerce by driving more customers online and generating a pressing demand for reliable logistics solutions. As a result, more money has been spent on fulfilment centres, last-mile delivery, and warehousing.

As e-commerce grew and effective inventory management became more important, there was an increase in demand for warehouses and distribution centres. The United Kingdom’s logistics providers are progressively forming alliances and working together to improve their services.

Furthermore, a favourable market is being created by the introduction of novel business models like on-demand delivery services and shared logistics platforms.
